Type of paint used: Acrylic Craft Paint and
Clear Ceramic Fired Glaze
The inside of this vase was painted with
clear ceramic glaze and kiln fired to help
make it water resistant. The outside was
painted with an acrylic wash. The wash
was made by thinning craft acrylic paint
with water. The crevices were painted with
a darker wash to give it the weathered
looking finish. This is an easy technique to
use on many different projects.
