Painted by: Pine Creek Ceramics
Type of paint used: Acrylic Craft Paint with Porcelain Mist Sealer
This plaque was painted with bright acrylic washes. The washes were made by thinning
acrylic paint with water. The pocket was glued into position. One coat of porcelain mist
was applied to the surface and allowed to dry. A ceramic decal was then added. After the
decal and surface were dry, three more coat of porcelain mist was applied (with dry times
between coats) as a sealer and to help blend in the decal edges. Artificial flowers and
greenery were added to complete this plaque.
