Type of paint used: Acrylic Craft Paint and
Silver Glitter Paint
All of the pieces of this snow scene were
stained with a black wash, made by thinning
some black acrylic paint with quite a bit of
water. After drying, the red paint was added
only to the bows and Christmas Tree
ornaments. White was then painted on heavily
for the snow on the ground and roofs and dry
brushed heavily on the other areas for the ice
and snow effect. After all the painting was
complete and dry, clear/silver glitter paint was
added to the snow, ice, and border for the
sparkle to this monochromatic snow scene.
