Painted by:
Julia in Albany, CA
Type of paint used: Liquitex *
This teapot with scroll design was painted by Julia in
Albany, CA as a gift for her granddaughter who says "...it
looks like it could come alive in a Disney movie." Julia's
colorful selection includes Liquitex medium magenta,
cerulean blue, and titanium white. The bright colors give
lots of contrast to the sections and the hand painted rose
emblem gives a nice touch to the scroll panel. Krylon crystal
clear acrylic coating was used as the final sealer*. The
completed teapot looks great. Special thanks to Julia for
sharing her photo and idea with us.
* Please Note: We recommend dishes painted and/or sealed with
acrylic paints and finishes be used for decoration purposes only
and not used for foods or drinks.
