Painted by: Pine Creek Ceramics

Type of paint used: Acrylic Craft Paint and
Clear Ceramic Fired Glaze

The inside of this vase was painted with
clear ceramic glaze and kiln fired to help
make it water resistant. The outside was
painted with white acrylic craft paint. The
colored details were painted on last with
acrylic craft paint. A clear sealer was
sprayed on to complete this project.
Even though ceramic bisque is already
white, it is helpful to paint the areas that
you want to be white with paint for the
sealer to bond to. If areas are left
unpainted, the sealer may not have a
consistent appearance.
