Painted by: Pine Creek Ceramics
Type of paint used: Craft Acrylic
This Quilted Easter Bunny was first
painted with pastel colors. The polka dots
were painted by dipping the handle of a
paint brush in white paint and touching it
to the ceramic piece in the desired pattern.
The flowers were created by the same
method but using a dark pink for the
center and five white dots for the petals.
The basket was painted brown before dry
brushing lighter color highlights. The
indentions in the blue areas that are
quilted were painted pink with a liner
brush. After the paint was dry, a clear
sealer was sprayed on and miniature
flowers were added to the basket to
complete this project.
(The basket comes attached to the bunny
and doesn't have a handle, by adding
flowers, etc. the bunny will appear to be
holding the basket by a handle.)
