Type of paint used: Acrylic
"....We used basic acrylic paints on the figurines and sprayed with a matte finish. Tiny facial
features such as eyebrows were done with a toothpick. We also used a toothpick to "dot" the
lettering on the scroll rather than using a brush with a stroke motion. It was time consuming
but was easier to control and gave a better result. We used Decoart staining and antiquing
medium to get a muted look as well as bring out the beautiful detail of the piece. On the scroll
we used two colors or antiquing; a reddish brown on the face of the scroll and a darker brown
on the edges to give it an aged look...We've really enjoyed this new craft and hope others will
